Valid point. Part of the problem I think is that the combo box allows 
selection of both the language and mirrors sites which I think may be a bit 
confusing at times.

I'll try to look at it eventually but can't guarantee when, if you want file a 
bug report in bugzilla against www and assign it to howells at kde.org.
