folders titles not listed after upgrade from suse 8.0 to 8.2

Hi,

    sorry to bother you, I could not find a forum to ask about this 
problem.  On long folder title bar only a little - is shown.  Title of 
folder is up on top Bar and when I go to 'Messages" button, then a 
pulldown list of my folders appears and I can move, copy messages.

    I must admit not having a list of folders is a pain.  Can you 
suggest how or where to find out where to fix?
