The combo boxes need to be somewhere, if we have some logo ready, it will look 
much better, atm it really looks very empty at the top of the page (have 
added the logo used in the former betas in CVS now, should be online soon).
The too large find combo is a konqui bug, is that the 3_1_BRANCH or HEAD ? If 
it is HEAD, update, it is fixed since some weeks I guess, at least here.

The table for the apps news is really bad atm, that's true. 

But as said, should be no big problems to fix it, simply help ;) But even your 
testing is nice, as it shows up surely some probs which are still alive atm,
