Do we want to do away with the offsite search facility (kde.com) that is
currently used and implement a local search engine for kde.org?
If we do want to I have setup Perlfect Search
(http://perlfect.com/freescripts/search/) in my local copy of kde-www already
and have it working with our templates, I currently use this search engine
for usability.kde.org and I think it's used on developer.kde.org as well from
memory.
Plus seeing how we have all sites under the one structure then we can search
all sites at once, although this might not be a good thing but it means we
can get rid of that drop down to choose the site to search.
Anyway I will leave this open to discussion for a while and if we decide to go
ahead I'll commit my changes and get the sysadmins to do what is required on
the server side.
Regards,
Jason
