An addition to your mirrors page for netselect users

Dear Sir or Madam,

A small addition to your webpage could speed up many people's downloads, and
probably balance the load on your file servers.

I found the kde download slow going when using the to
upgrade my Debian KDE2.2 to KDE3.1.1. (Being stuck on dial-up access is a
bugger.) Rather than pick a random mirror and hope for something faster, I removed
all the non-url info from your mirrors page and used net-select to
automatically pick the fastest.

If you could included the instructions and text below as a side-bar on your
page (easy to cut-and-paste,) it will speed up people's upgrade as well as
balance your load better between all the servers hosting these files.

--- begin instructions for netselect users ---
1. Save this list of files as a text document with FILENAME
2. From the command line type 'netselect -vv $(cat FILENAME)'
3. The server mentioned has the fastest and most reliable response. Use
that address to download KDE.

4. (debian suggestion: after finding the fastest mirror, add 'deb
<mirror>/stable/3.1.1/stable/Debianto woody main' to your /etc/apt/sources.list.
(Feel free to substitute some other version for 3.1.1 or woody, of course.) Then
a simple 'apt-get update && apt-get install kdebase' will install KDE and
any missing dependencies. Note: Some Debian systems may require you to
comment out other KDE sources or prioritize them in your apt.conf file.)
--- end instructions ---

--- begin netselect text-file list of mirrors ---"

--- end text-file mirror list ---
