KDE never has been, and never will be, democratic.  Taking a poll is a 
great way to shirk responsibility and avoid making decisions, but it's a 
poor way to achieve consistency and make goals.

And what is it about this site that makes this poll representative of the 
KDE community?  The very site name tells me that there's an inherent bias 
toward shininess and against usability and consistency.
