REMOVE

Please note that the KDE desktop as shipped uses 8
point fonts for most setting. These were unreadable
on my system video hardware:
SiS SiS630 GUI Accelerator+3D graphics card.
Envision EN-775e (VESA) monitor
1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz (V) and 64.0kHz (H)
1024 x 0768 @ 85Hz (V) and 68.4kHz (H)
0800 x 0600 @ 85Hz (V) and 53.7kHz (H)

This condition made it very difficult to explore KDE
to find the font settings.

I suggest that the KDE desktop should use 10 point
fonts as the defaults. I solved as follows:

Solved Issue 1:
Font size used by KDE desktop icon tags is too small.
Solution: From Desktop Menu, Desktop, Configure
Desktop, Appearence - select desired font for icon
descriptions.

Solved Issue 2:
Font size used by KDE menu system, pop-ups, etc. is
too small. Solution: Start, Preference, Look & Feel,
Fonts - select desired fonts.

SuSE Linux and KDE are great software.
