Subject: distributions web page sadly out of date
From: andrew at grillet.co.uk
X-KDE-Received: -195.92.168.169

Package: www.kde.org
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: FreeBSD
OS/Compiler notes: compiler/version not relevant

The kde web page describing OS distributiuons that include kde is very out of date. eg it refers to FreeBSD 4.1, which dates from about 3 years ago (latest release is 4.5, with 4.6 expected any day now). There is No mention of NetBSD, (I know it includes KDE2, cos I use it myself) and most of the Linux distributions mentioned are also out of date.

This page needs to be updated or removed. If it is intended to list the first ever distro from each family that included kde, then it should say so more clearly.

PS kde is wonderful, but kword is not perfect :-)
