Hi, I stored the PDF from this bug and opened it with the current Okular
version from the store. I get there no such artifacts, looks more or less like
in the internal preview of e.g. Microsoft Edge.

My Okular install says:

Okular
Version 1.9.2

Using Poppler 0.85.0

KDE Frameworks 5.67.0
Qt 5.14.0 (built against 5.14.0)
