KPat crash on Windows

I was going to submit a bug report, but ran up against "unable to
communicate with kded".  Is this normal, or something I should fix (and
how?).

What happened was that a game reached the point of the final pile
completing, but it would not collapse, so that the game didn't complete.
I did get a screenshot and a backtrace, so I'll attach them here.  Hope
that helps.
