Several package not found (Error 404)

Have you tried to switch to the master branch in emerge, like "git checkout
master", and then redo the things as Thomas suggested?

I think master should be closer to the upcoming 4.10 than 4.9. Not sure if
there is enough manpower to release 4.9.
