Emerge issues - 2

While trying to compile kmymoney using emerge on the 'stable' 4.10 branch I 
keep running into issues

Second issue I want to raise is worrisome

|emerge debug: checking digest of: phonon-4.6.0.tar.xz||
||emerge error: digest value for file t:\phonon-4.6.0.tar.xz 
(da39a3ee5e6b4b0d3255bfef95601890afd80709) do not match (d8db||

||emerge error: invalid digest file||
||emerge fatal error: command unpack failed|


Not sure what to do about this one? Why would the digest change

when I run md5sum on it I don't get a match on either of the hashes listed above

||\d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e *t:\\phonon-4.6.0.tar.xz||

Is it not an md5 used as the digest? how does merge know what algorithm to 
use as the digest?
