You may want to talk to the Qt folks. They'll likely have a better answer per solving the issue in Qt. (And they're responsible for the QtDBus code you're probably using.)
So jump on over to qt-interest at qt.nokia.com. You might also want to check out their bug database too.

I guess you did not get any answer because this is the wrong list for non kde issues dbus
