As I recall no. But as I remember KMyMoney crashed on you in the new
file wizard in KFileDialog also and the one thing that and the
settings have in common is GPG encryption setup (combobox with the
available GPG keys). Do you have a usable GPG key on that particular
setup? That could cause the crash, I only tested KMyMoney without a
GPG key.
