Installation from a local directory

Hi,

The KDE for Windows Installer is not able to download packages. The reason
might be the network; it's my office computer and there might be
restrictions from university.

Anyway, I thought I might be able to do the installation from a local
directory. I have downloaded I few of the packages manually to give it a go
(this is working). When choosing the 'installation from local directory' it
does not go through all steps and it seems to be just an option in case you
have already installed something. But I haven't . I have told the KDE
Installer where my packages are saved but the list of packages is empty
(package selection page).

Could you please give me instructions on how to install from a local
directory? I haven't found any help on the website, sorry in case I have
just not seen it.

Thank you very much. Your help is much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Gerlind
