Well, yes, the main reason about it is that
1) there is no support in emerge yet for debug packages
2) we have a space problem again ;-)

The pdb files are generated when building with msvc and are staying
within the build directory. So theoretically it is not that hard getting
them, I wanted to keep that for the gsoc though.
