4.4.1 - akonadi will not start

Hi,

Are there instructions somewhere for setting up Akonadi?  I recently upgraded to KDE 4.4.1 for Windows which apparently requires Akonadi for kmail (at least I can't figure out how to stop kmail from using it).  When I start kmail and Akonadi fails to start, kmail instantly quits.

If it is supposed to "just work," then I'll post back with my error messages.
