About the emerge patches: since you have a KDE svn account, you can
directly commit to the portage/ directory of course. The
buildserver/dashboard currently builds the default package for most
packages, so if you'd change your default in the .py to e.g. a stable
branch, that should be ok too.

For packaging distinct versions, please also add them to the kmid*.py
script as targets, and send me or Patrick von Reth a mail (or bug us on
irc) to update the stable target.
