Well, if I understood correctly MSVC2008 is also easier to setup as it
already contains the windows sdk (with msvc2005 it was quite a hassle to
find the right sdk for Vista). So I'm personally for switching to 2008
(the only reason I'd build with 2005 is because I don't want to rebuild
the autotools-based dependencies myself).
