KDE & Windows 7

I tried to install KDE 4.1.96 on Windows 7. Install went fine but there's no
kde entry in the start menu, and apps don't start if manually launched from
the bin folder. No errors, they just don't start. Anybody else tried KDE on
Windows 7?
