Status of kde on windows

As you can see on the page, there are more recent versions available. Check if 
you have and old version of the installer, selected an outdated mirror. Now 
you can choose which version to download from mirrors, so uncheck the option 
on the first page of the installer to select a version.

xmonad is a X11 window manager so it does not work on Windows.
