windows shares

Hi,
I've noticed the new icon in 4.3.0 for smb shares in "remote:/". Navigating
through the directories works fine but the files can't be open, it seems it
tries to open //directory/file instead of \\directory\file
Also since rc1 knetattach.desktop stopped working ( a messagebox says it has
no Type=... entry )
Also... does it really use samba (to use smb and samba names)?
