internal compiler error while building qt

Here is the start of the command line:
g++ -c -include tmp\obj\release_shared\qt_gui_pch.h -O2 -Wall [....]
Interesting enough, when using "-O3" manually it seems to work.

Using no "-O" flag brings up an error message with qt_gui_pch.h
not found and the found being invalid. I wildly guess this is because
qt_quit.pch.h.gch is precompiled and not for the right options and -O3 is 
compatible.

All very strange.
