There is a subtle defect: 
emerge kdepim-branch will also emerge "kdepimlibs" through its dependencies
via kdebase-runtime. What about the attached patch?
(Also adds useful debugging, otherwise this is hard to see where the 
dependency comes from even in VERBOSE=2.)
