ok, then I'll fix it with some DEFINE MAKE_FOO_LIB (I hope). The whole import/export stuff doesn't make sense when a static lib is used but the current foo_export.h - generator has no codepath for static libs. Therefore KDE_IMPORT/ declspec(dllimport) is used and we get this errors.
