Application Icons not showing up

Hi all,
Using the latest installer 0.9.1beta1, I downloaded the binary packages and
the dependent files. In looking at the bin directory it has 148 executable
files of which 114 files don't have Application icons.
This may become an issue when the installer creates menu entries or
otherwise needs an icon to show (besides looking better all around with an
icon).
It seems that most of the applications in kdegames, amarok, and qt specific
applications (assistant, qdbusviewer), all have icons but others (kdeedu,
etc.) do not. After downloading the sources (again from the installer), I
was digging around in them and reading (a lot of) wiki pages and it seems
that the several batch of icons are there, they just appear not to have been
compiled into the Windows apps (I don't have a Linux system to test on).
Looking at the CMakeLists.txt file in kdegames source folder where the icons
are stored for any particular app, it appears that they all have a line
kde4_add_app_icon(...) in them and the applications without icons don't. Of
course I haven't looked at system applications like the dbus-daemon.exe,
etc. (but Windows isn't consistent with their application icons in the
system32 folder either).
Can someone tell me if my thinking is correct? Also, it seems like it would
just take grunt work to get those lines in the CMakeLists.txt files, which I
wouldn't mind working on if it isn't a waste of time or should be done by
someone else or somewhere else (like trunk) or (lots of) bug reports.
Thanks,
