Running Plasma...

Whenever I start Plasma I get the following error message:

URL cannot be listed 
desktop:/
After clicking OK it starts, but then takes up a lot of CPU, and plasma is unusable so I have to kill it with procexp.

In case it matters, I have two screens, and am also running Microsoft SysInternal's Desktop.exe for virtual desktops - though only one desktop has been initialized (Desktop 1).

How do I resolve this?

I've tried to look for a manual on settings, but haven't been able to find one.
