packaging error in sed-package

hi all,
while working on the unmerge function in emerge, I found out that 
sed-4.1.4-bin / sed-4.1.4-dep are wrongly packaged since the .mft-files 
are empty.

This possibly breaks deinstallation with the installer as well.

I am not sure if this is a package error for them as well, and if I can 
inform them in any way (so that they can change it).
