failed to connect to started dbus

Hello,

I've managed to get dbus-deamon up and running. But when trying to execute
kde4 app I get the following response:
"my-app-name: FATAL: Session bus not found
QDBusConnection: closed connection qt_default_session_busis still referred
to by other QDBusConnection objects"

what does this mean? what do I have to do to make it run my kde4 app?
