Hi and thanks for the patch. The previous maintainer for ark seems to have 
disappeared from KDE community, and I as the new maintainer have only done 
work towards restoring kde4 Ark. Although the patch looks OK, for this reason 
I cannot really evaluate it.

Do you have an svn commit permissions? If not then I can commit the patch for 
you if you'd like.
