Hi;

I just finished writing the chapter
http://test.openusability.org/wiki_ou/index.php/Basics:Design_for_People
which is open for discussion and feedback.

Any changes you'd like to make can be done in the wiki directly, or ask me
to do it if unsure.

Note that the i18n and a11y paragraphs have been kept brief on purpose;
examples and pitfalls as well as implementation details don't belong in
an introduction IMO.

The 'know your user' part requests an example. I was thinking about an
example feature like:
  Ledger application targeted at bookkeepers comes bundled with a new
  feature; a simple pop-up calculator.
  A simple calculator is useless for a bookkeeper; plus most of them will
  have one on their desk anyway.

Anyone got anything better?
