I think I, Aaron and the lack of support for your arguments make it quite
clear that the path to follow is to put our combined efforts in the new
HIG. The one that the framework it being created for right now.
Since you were not at akademy I'll repeat a statement I made there:
"In the presentation we saw on what other styleguides do; our 4 line
explenation of [featureX] just does not compare to the 2 pages alternative
styleguides spent on that.
"Since I wrote most of the old styleguide I have absolutely no problem
ripping it out and creating a better version with proper industry backing.
See; all noses are pointing in the same direction here; everyone wants the
same thing and everyone wants to work on it.
