It depends on who is printing what. In ISO sizes we have an A3 poster
and A4 tri-fold brochures. I think the US equivalent to A3 is 12"x17"
which is a format I have seen for printing around here. In my case, I
printed a poster in US Letter, so the poster artwork is sized for
that.
