Testing Web Application

Valorie,

I read the distilled discussion, and the two e-mails in this thread. I
still have no clue what this sort of testing webapp is for or does?
It's a way for developers to create tests for users to manually run?
That seems not very useful (what users want to run developers manual
tests? Why don't developers just do the tests themselves, that's what
I usually do as a developer...) If it is something to go along with
automatic unit tests I don't understand why a web app is required, we
have unit tests that can be enabled or disabled at build time. If you
want to get some opinions about what this is, it would probably help
to explain some background about why it's wanted, what it will do, why
we want it, etc. I didn't get any of that from the list of bullet
points somehow.

BR,
Jeremy
