phonon backend testing 0.6.2/4.6.3

Aloha,

I am currently preparing updates for the stable release of both phonon
backends [1][2] and was hoping that perhaps some of you could do a
functional validation of quality. Fortunately enough we already have a set
of standard test cases documented [3]. So I'd be perfectly happy if a
couple of people could run the functional tests to make sure the primary
use cases remain working.
