kubuntu 4.8.90 report

maybe this is a little outdated, but here is my experience.

after system reboot kwin immediately crashes (even if i start it manually), keyboard focus is not working, so keyboard input is not possible

another regression i found - battery icon has lost its sharpness and is now unusable. i have filled https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302646
(or is it kubuntu packaging only bug?)

also i cannot add widgets: http://videoteka.kiev.ua/widget-add-fail.png
and the search in 'Search and run' (the one which replaces Alt+f2) is not giving any results as well.

i wrote this as a blogpost entry, but then after Aaron's feedback i removed it and reposted the text here.
