Hi,

and happy new year 2012 to all of you in the project, especially the
ones I haven't had the chance to wish that personally yet :)

I will try and make this short. I am taking up some new
responsibilities, and to not stretch too thin, I need to fade out my
involvement in the projects revolving around Telepathy in the Qt world
for the foreseeable future. This includes some commercial stuff, but
sadly also the limited degree of occasional tech insights I've managed
to squeeze in for KDE Telepathy.

Knowing myself, and my OCD habits, I will now accordingly unsubscribe
from the KDE tp mailing lists and depart from the IRC channel. Feel free
to still email or /query me if there is pressing need, though, as usual :)

Andre (andrunko) will assume my position in telepathy-qt stewardship,
and is the one to ping for deeper tp-qt questions from now on. I am sure
he will live up to it admirably, with all the experience we've gained
from development in the past few years. You might also see another
familiar face appearing on his side fairly soon, offloading some design
pondering and implementation workload from him :)

In general, I feel the KDE Telepathy experience has been very
productive. We've advanced a lot towards having the best integrated IM
experience on a desktop anywhere lately. But in addition, the basic
underlying infrastructure, including tp-qt, has improved a lot from your
real-world usage impressions and contributions! So guys, keep up the
good work - I'll be sure to come and celebrate your achievements in
future conferences and alike!
