Summary: Telepathy/KDE XMPP component should provide a way to
                    disable encryption
           Product: telepathy
           Version: 0.3
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kde-telepathy at kde.org
        ReportedBy: devurandom at gmx.net

Version: 0.3 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

Currently there is no way to disable encryption (only to not require it) for a
XMPP connection.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
For debugging purposes it would be nice to disable it though, to watch the
traffic with tools like Wireshark. A drop-down-box (require, allow, disable)
instead of a checkbox (require, allow) would be sufficient.
