When I add a gmail account to my jabber account. The Account is listed in my
contacts without a status, the other person never recieves an authorization
request and I'm never authorized to see his status. But I can talk to him and
he'll see me in his contact list - without a status too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add a gmail account.

Actual Results:  
Contact is added and recieves a request to authorize me to see his status.

Expected Results:  
Contact is added to the list, and that's all.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.2.0-15-generic
Compiler: gcc
My account is from jabber.org
