I'm now thinking how to actually handle avatars, because on some services you
can't really change your avatar from clients (facebook chat, possibly gtalk now
that it's connected with g+). Can we detect which accounts support changing
avatar? If not, then I say we limit it on the client side, so you won't be able
to change it for fbchat, gtalk and perhaps some others.
But this then raises another question - what to do with the avatars? Because if
you have three accounts (fbchat, gtalk, jabber) and you have three different
avatars, which one do you want to see? Would a "slideshow" composed of these
avatars be any good? Or simply stick with the current concept, ie. select which
avatar to display in contact list?
Please share your comments and opinions.
