Strange applet size behavior in Contact Applet

Whilst it does work in the sys-tray it /should/ also work everywhere else.
Just because we have a nice work-around it doesn't mean it's not
currently fucked.
AFAIK we can't make it only available in the system tray - and even if
we could it's not a solution.

Anyway I have some good news on the contact applet breaking:

When I was shutting down my PC plasma crashed.

Now I've rebooted I only get tiny avatars in the contact applet.
This heavily it implies it's plasma's fault and it screws up it's own
config somehow.
I haven't reset my .plasmarc file, so I'll try and keep a copy of it
in a broken state so we can see what's wrong.
