This is functionality that should NOT be done in the contact list.

The accounts remain online even after you close the contact list, and it's
designed to get away from being one monolithic application. 

I'm not sure where the right place is it could be done as an Amarok plugin, or
in a daemon like the approver (or the integration daemon?) which are always
running when telepathy is.
