When you go online via the QML Plasmoid it sets your status as "Set your
personal status here"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Add the new telepathy QML widget
2) Go online via the widget

Actual Results:  
Your presence status as "Set your personal status here"

Expected Results:  
I would expect the widget to not a status if a user does not set a custom
status
