For clarity, I think these virtual methods should also be defined as pure virtual in AbstractStorage, since they are connected in Controller using a pointer to AbstractStorage.
Of course QObject makes it unnecessary to do that (or have a base class even), but it would make it more obvious what the subclasses of AbstractStorage need to implement in order to work.
