When I open a new chat window the old chats are not shown and it does not seem
to be configurable. There also seems to be no chat history.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
The possibility to show old chat messages should be there, also a kind of
searchable history.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-7-generic
Compiler: gcc
