            Bug ID: 358951
           Summary: No errors are shown
           Product: telepathy
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian unstable
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: grave
          Priority: NOR
         Component: contactlist
          Assignee: kde-telepathy-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: tiposchi at tiscali.it

I am using version 1:5.16.3-2 present in debian.

No errors whatsoever are shown so it is impossible to fix issues.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new jabber account
2. Insert some random stuff as username, password, and server
3. Set availability online

Actual Results:
The account (obviously) remains offline, but no error is ever shown to explain
what is happening and why the account is remaining online

Expected Results:
A popup saying "Server not responding".
If the server does indeed exist, another popup saying "Password incorrect"
asking for another login.

I am marking this as grave because I can't connect to what I wish to connect
and I have no way of establishing what is going on.

I can connect fine with kopete and I just copied the same settings.
