so, question: 
a) as su - or as user? In console mc-tool dump gives for either a clean return
to prompt, I do not find the dump. 
b) Where does it dump. 
c) Maybe I have to install further debug packages. Please advice me shortly
what I should have installed to be efficient.

For Telepathy. It does not connect. It does not give an error message. The
account is there, but when I open the contact list it tells me: you do not have
an account yet, do you want to set up one now? 
This is funny because while it says it, the account is shown on the account
list in the first place.
