            Bug ID: 352666
Summary: No feedback on (Jabber) connection errors given
           Product: telepathy
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: chat-plasmoid
          Assignee: kde-telepathy-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: alex.merry at kde.org

Because I'm trying to connect to kdetalk.net with an @kde.org JID, I'm getting
SSL errors (which I don't seem to be able to ignore, probably because of Bug
337755). However, the only reason I know this is the problem is by looking at
the console output of plasmashell. When I try to go online it just spins a sort
of busy notification, then stops, still offline, with no indication of what
might have gone wrong.

Empathy, by contrast, displays a "certificate hostname mismatch" message.

Reproducible: Always
