            Bug ID: 346958
Summary: support different presence status per account
           Product: telepathy
           Version: frameworks
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
               URL: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=230&t=126157
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kde-telepathy-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: olaf.the.lost.viking at gmail.com

Kopete offers the possibility to configure multiple accounts and only go online
with a subset of them when you switch your global status (I excluded test
accounts or accounts only relevant to certain projects). In addition you could
then switch single accounts on- or offline (or whatever) individually (like a
customer specific account when you work on his project - or work vs uni vs
private). The way (including the user interface) Kopete handles this special
case is actually pretty good.

As far as I can see, ktp only has one single global presence status. The
tooltip in the contact lists already shows the status of each account, but
doesn't allow you to change them. Bringing over Kopete's behaviour or something
equivalent to the presence applet or the contact list would be very helpful.

Reproducible: Always
