I already test version 0.8.1 and the problem is here. The easiest solution will
be change action on "Close" button in KDE Telepathy contact window - to hide
window (without unloading anything) for hide it from task list in panel, and
show it back on icon click.
This is "two strings" in code and solve the problem quickly. If you don't want
to add this in options window, please add this as hidden option in
configuration rc file.

This maybe quick temporary solution before you solve the problem with slow
loading-unloading full contact list, can you do this?
